Constancio Cecilio Vigil Olid (September 4, 1876 – September 24, 1954) was an Uruguayan-Argentine businessman, writer, and prominent publisher. He wrote more than a hundred children’s books, as well as works among “Upa!”, a method book to teach children how to read devised by him as a means of pedagogical work.
