Jack-Henry Lee is an animator and multimedia artist making dumb/gross/spiritual independent films about cycles of degeneration and regeneration (and the pervasive power of love) in Portland, Oregon. He graduated from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, in 2024 with a BFA in 2D Animation and Digital Art. His college capstone film, Phallic Don Is Dead, was selected for the 2D animation "Best Of" show at the Brooklyn Alamo Drafthouse, and was awarded "Best Experimental Animation." Upon release it was Newgrounds Frontpaged and screened in New York at the Extrasensory premiere, Frog Farm 6, ASIFA East, and Wallabout Film Festival. Phallic Don premiered internationally at the Kaboom Animation Festival in Utrecht and Amsterdam, and screened around the world at Anifilm in the Czech Republic, First-Time Filmmaker Sessions in the United Kingdom, and Leiden Shorts in the Netherlands.
