Born in Izmir, Oğulcan Atayol completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Photography. He worked as an editor, cameraman and content creator in Turkey's best known motorbike show ‘’Man in the Golden Suit‘’. During this period, he worked as a cinematographer in various short films and worked in camera, editing and lighting departments. He directed various audio-visual based digital content projects. In 2024, his first feature-length film ‘Extreme Personal Documentary’, which documents the recording process of musician Nilufer Akdogu's Turkish jazz album Aristo'ya Inat (Against Aristotle), started its screening and festival adventure. He continues to work as a freelance photographer, director and video editor while making a podcast called "Hazir Merak Etmisken".
