Borys Jeyko Soriano Conforme (Guayaquil, June 10, 2003) is a director and audiovisual creative currently studying Film at Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil. From an early age, he has shown a deep passion for cinematic language, standing out especially in scriptwriting, sound design, and directing audiovisual projects.
He has directed student music videos and short films such as Portraits from the Other Side, Locked (Retratos del otro lado), Locked (Encerrado) and Dark Corner (Rincón oscuro), exploring in each piece themes that combine tension, introspection, and social commentary. Additionally, he has ventured into creating and producing humor-focused podcasts, demonstrating versatility and command of diverse narrative formats.
In the technical field, he has worked as a sound director on several documentary short films, consolidating his experience in capturing, editing, and designing soundscapes that enrich the cinematic experience. His passion for sound has allowed him to understand the power of auditory atmospheres to complement visual storytelling.
He is currently expanding his portfolio and collaborating on projects that allow him to grow as a filmmaker, honing his focus on writing, directing, and sound design, with the goal of becoming a leading voice among the new generation of Ecuadorian filmmakers.
