AC/DC: Live '77 At The Hippodrome Golders Green London

Originally scheduled as an appearance by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, his unexpected retirement two days prior saw AC/DC drafted as a last minute replacement. Filmed at the end of their UK tour, the band appear at their very best, with both Bon Scott and Angus Young displaying a talent that would go on to make AC/DC one of the most successful rock bands of modern times. Released in part on the later Plug Me In video collection, I personally believe this to be the best remaining live recoding of AC/DC during the Bon Scott era and a must for any serious collector.

Although issued commercially and only in Japan, this DVD can be considered a semi-official DVD, was not authorized by the band or Sony, and the US release planned for February 2003 was canceled for this reason. Counterfeit copies have been released.
