The work introduces and develops upon a fictionalised paternal relationship in order to explore themes of contemporary maleness, ritual and cultural ornamentation. Here, father and son are positioned as both protagonists and editors, engaging with both a bodily or subject-driven performative display alongside a more detached but equally bodily and subject-driven edit.
