In June 1984, the Army attacked Darbar Sahib, the holiest and most sacred place of the Sikhs. The ruling political party used government propaganda to portray the hardworking peasants of Punjab as terrorists.
The army fails miserably to capture Sant Jarnail Singh and obtains permission to use the main guns of the tanks. Whereabouts of Sikh fighters are smashed with tanks. Now Sikh fighters have the only way to walk-the path of sovereignty.
