When Sali and Paul Aloka, a Black couple, adopted Benjamin, their white son, they knew they were heading into unchartered territory, right until the day Benjamin announces he wants to meet his birth parents.
Benjamin wants all his immediate family to come with him to Normandy to meet his biological mother, Ève. During the journey, Paul and Sali see their relationship tested time and again. Parents and children both need to get their family back on a more stable footing.
